MACHINE SEWING | SEWING CRASH COURSE | LEVEL 2
Join our 6-hour workshop, split into two 3-hour sessions, to quickly learn machine sewing techniques, and sew a completed project. This crash course compresses our individual classes into one intensive experience.
Our studio sews with Brother® computerized sewing machines. You’re welcome to use one of our studio machines or you can even bring your own functioning personal machine to get better acquainted with it.
Class 1 Details:
In our first class, we’ll dive into the basics of using a serger to help give your future projects that professional finish. You’ll also learn how to make and sew bias tape and piping, essential skills that will take your sewing to the next level!
Class 2 Details:
In the second class, we’ll put all those skills into action! You’ll sew a project of your choice, incorporating the bias tape, piping, and even a zipper. Choose your "sewing adventure" with a zipper pouch or a throw pillow cover. If you have a different project in mind you’d like to use bias tape or piping on, feel free to let us know.
